How long does it take for my website to be ready?
This largely depends upon you. Our proven three-step process usually delivers a website live within a week. But if you require more time to review drafts of the website, this is fine and we won’t rush you. If you have different time-frames in mind, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Is there any ongoing commitment to Websites Direct To You?
No, absolutely not. We help you select a hosting provider so you can obtain the best possible deal and maintain full control of the ongoing hosting of your site (but don’t worry – we are there to help every step of the way). At go-live we provide you with all details so that you can maintain and enhance your site into the future. Of course, we hope you will be thrilled with our service and will select us to meet those future needs but there’s no obligation to do so.
Are there any additional fees or charges?
No. Our fixed-price offerings are carefully designed to provide everything you need. We want you to recommend us to your friends. Adding hidden extras is not the right way to go about that.
What are your payment terms?
You pay in two simple instalments : 50% upon commencement of the project and 50% when the site goes live. We accept EFT transfer and we utilise the trusted PayPal payment gateway to accept credit cards.
Do you display any ads on my website?
Websites Direct To You never displays ads on your site. If you choose a free hosting option WordPress may occasionally run ads on your site. You can eliminate these ads by upgrading your WordPress plan at any time. All other plans are ad-free.
I already have a domain name and/or hosting provider. Can I use these?
Yes – and we will help you through that process. If you don’t have a domain name or hosting provider we will help you with that too.
Will my website work with different browsers, iPhones and tablets?
Yes. Your new website will work with all popular devices. Furthermore, the careful use of professional, responsive themes will ensure your site will work with tomorrow’s devices and browser versions as well.
Will my website be listed in search engines?
Yes. This is most important so we invest extra effort in Search Engine Optimisation so your website content is presented in a friendly manner for your customers but is also available to search engines so your future customers can find you quicker. We do everything that is needed to list your site with Google, Bing and Yahoo.
